Situaiton more complicated as investors get scared says CEO

(ANSA) - Bergamo, Octover 19 - Victor Massiah, the CEO of Italian bank UBI, said Friday that Italy's rising bank spread would make it increasingly difficult for institutes to grant loans. "The lower the coefficient of capital, the lower the leverage for the bank sector to make loans," Massiah said.
    "The more institutional investors fear investing in the country, the more complex funding becomes.
    "Today funding is not an emergency, but everyone has to be aware of the mechanisms and the consequences".
