Milan bourse reverses early losses

FTSE MIB up 0.7% after an hour of volatile trading

(ANSA) - Milan, December 5 - The Milan stock exchange reversed the losses it sustained in the opening of trading on Monday after Sunday's victory for the No camp in the Constitutional referendum and Matteo Renzi's announcement he was quitting as premier. The FTSE Mib index was up 0.7% after about one hour of business after shedding 1.8% soon in the opening operations. Trading was volatile, however, with attention focused on bank stocks. Popolare di Milano was down 0.3%, Banco 0.1% and UniCredit 0.4%, but Intesa was up 0.6%.
