Military plane brings Palestinian children to Italy

Commitment to civilian population of Gaza continues - Crosetto

(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 10 - An Italian air force plane took off from Egypt on Sunday carrying Palestinian children from Gaza who will receive treatment in hospitals in Italy. "The commitment of the defence ministry continues: Italy is doing everything possible to alleviate the suffering of the civilian population," said Defence Minister Guido Crosetto on X.
    The plane is carrying 45 people including 14 children, 8 adults and 23 escorts and is scheduled to arrive at Rome's Ciampino airport around 6 pm local time.
    The youngest child on board is Aisel, a girl of just four months. The young patients will receive treatment in pediatric hospitals in Naples, Florence, Genoa, Milan, Bologna and Rome.
