Italy had the third lowest inflation
rate in the eurozone in April thanks to a drop to 0.9% from 1.2%
in March, according to Eurostat data released on Friday.
It said the inflation rate was lower only in Lithuania (0.4%)
and Finland (0.6%).
The European Statistical Office said that inflation fell in 15
EU countries last month, including Italy, was stable in four and
rose in eight.
