(ANSA) - ROMA, 05 DIC - The glass box for the accused stands
empty as lawyers and others begin to arrive in the courtroom
during the start of the trial for the Brussels attacks, that
took place on 22 March 2016, at the Justitia building in
Brussels, Belgium, 05 December 2022. More than six years later,
ten defendants face charges including murder, attempted murder
and membership, or participation in the acts of a terrorist
group, over the morning rush hour attacks at Belgium's main
airport and on the central commuter line on 22 March 2016, in
which 32 people died and hundreds were injured. (ANSA).
