    Shanghai city reported one coronavirus-related death, 55 locally transmitted cases, and 503 local asymptomatic infections, according to the Shanghai Health Commission on 23 May 2022.
    Since 22 May, four metro lines and more than 200 buses resumed operations. At the metro entrance, passengers must wear masks, show a green health code, hold a 48-hour negative PCR test and get a temperature check.
