(ANSA) - ROMA, 16 MAG - A cat and dog linger outside the
rubble of local man Nikolay's destroyed home in Kozarovychi
village, Ukraine, 16 May 2022. Nikolay lost his home after a
shot-down military helicopter dropped on it and survived in the
shelter. Nikolay and his wife were compelled to live in a bomb
shelter after that. On 24 February, Russian troops invaded
Ukrainian territory starting a conflict that has provoked
destruction and a humanitarian crisis. According to the UNHCR,
more than six million refugees have fled Ukraine and a further
7.7 million people have been displaced internally within Ukraine
