(ANSA) - ROMA, 10 MAG - Anti-government protesters burn effigy of Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha during a protest against the attending of Thai prime minister for US-ASEAN summit and calling for the abolition of the section 112 criminal code lese majeste law and free political prisoners at the US embassy in Bangkok, Thailand, 10 May 2022. Anti-government protests core leaders and many protesters have been arrested and detained after being charged with insulting the monarchy, under the so-called Lese Majeste law and sedition over their years-long street protest calling to reform the monarchy.
