out Lotus stems from a water body on a cold day in the outskirts
of Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian Kashmir, 05 December
2022. The farmers harvest lotus stem crop amid sub-zero
temperature from inside the Lake. Lotus stem farmers start
extracting the stems from November to March every year. Lotus
stem is a famous vegetable in Kashmir, with people across the
