Polizia greca recupera un Picasso e un Mondrian

(ANSA) - ROMA, 29 GIU - epa09310221 Greek Police officers presents the stolen Picasso and Mondrian paintings, at a press conference, in Athens, Greece, 29 June 2021. The Greek police have recovered Pablo Picassos 'Head of a Woman' and Piet Mondrians 'Stammer Windmill', which had been stolen from the National Gallery in Athens in 2012. Police found the two paintings hidden in a gorge in Keratea, east Attica on Monday 28 June 2021. A 49-year-old man has been arrested.The perpetrators also removed an early 17th-century sketch attributed to the Italian Mannerist artist Guglielmo Caccia.
