Probable alliance between conservatives and nationalists

Redazione Ansa

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 4 - In Croatia, where the legislative elections were held on April 17, a new parliamentary majority is expected to be formed soon, shifted strongly to the right, and composed of the Croatian Democratic Union (Hdz, centre-right ) of Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, in power since 2016, and the Patriotic Movement (DP, nationalist right). According to local media, this would be the result of over two weeks of meetings, talks, and contacts between political forces following the vote.
An agreement on the future government is set to be finalised, most likely next Tuesday. (ANSA).
