(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 23 - "The involvement of an increasing number of stakeholders on an international scale is a primary objective for the regional administration, not only given the significant event in October," the Big Science Business Forum in Trieste (BSBF 2024), but also to "strengthen the interaction between the world of research and the world of business and thus generate significant economic and employment spin-offs in the territory." That is what Friuli Venezia Giulia's Regional Councillor for Research, Alessia Rosolen, said at the end of the two-day event featuring the Big Science Business Forum in Bratislava and Prague.
The BSBF 2024 presentation 'tour' previously visited Belgrade, Serbia. It is a real 'roadshow' that will also visit other Central and Eastern European capitals, including Warsaw (April 16) and Budapest (May 7).
During the stages in Bratislava and Prague, Rosolen reported that 150 stands have already been booked for the BSBF, with 14 national pavilions scheduled. These figures confirm the event's importance, on which, said Rosolen again, "we must invest with conviction, increasing awareness of the opportunities related to the Big Science market, through the enhancement of the relational heritage built over time with interlocutors from the Balkan and Central European area."
