(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 30 - The EU has doubled the amount of
macro-financial aid it had agreed to provide Moldova just a year
ago. Last April, the Council adopted legislation enabling the EU
to extend €150 million in financial support to Moldova. Today,
the Council decided to further augment this amount by an
additional €145 million, bringing the total assistance package
to €295 million. (ANSA).
