(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 23 - Pamela Rendi-Wagner resigned as
leader of the Austrian Social Democrats after finishing third in
the party's internal primaries. The primaries were called to put
an end to internal squabbles that had been raging for months.
The current Secretary of the Spoe was defeated by Hans Peter
Doskozil, the governor of Burgenland, who won the primaries with
33.7% of the vote. (ANSA).
