(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, 27 MAR - Following the recommendation
voted by the Eurochamber's justice committee, the presidency of
the European Parliament has decided to join the EU Commission in
formally supporting infringement procedure against Hungary. The
Bureau of the Euro Chamber announced this decision. The
infringement procedure opened by the EU Commission against
Budapest targets the so-called "Child Protection Act," voted by
the Hungarian parliament in 2021 and which, according to the EU,
discriminates against LGBTQI+ people. (ANSA).
