(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 1 - The Italian Minister for EU Affairs
Raffaele Fitto met today in Rome with Slovak Minister of Foreign
and European Affairs, Ratislav Kacer. "In Rome, on the occasion
of the celebrations for the 30th anniversary of the beginning of
relations between Italy and the Republic of Slovakia, I met with
Foreign Minister Ratislav Kacer. It was an opportunity to
reaffirm our relationship based on friendship and cooperation,"
Fitto said on Twitter.
The two ministers have agreed, Fitto added in another tweet,
that " the extraordinary summit of the European Council should
reaffirm support for Ukraine, ensure more efficient control of
the EU's external borders and plan the entry into Europe of the
Western Balkan Countries." (ANSA).
