(ANSA) - ROME, 28 GEN - Following recent statements by
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Ukraine, the Kyiv
Foreign Ministry will summon the Hungarian ambassador.
According to Reuters reports, Orban's remark was called
"unacceptable" by Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg
Nikolenko. The Hungarian premier had said that Ukraine is a "no
man's land" and compared it to Afghanistan.
"Budapest is continuing a path aimed at destroying
Hungarian-Ukrainian relations," Nikolenko added, underlining
that "the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry will meet the Hungarian
ambassador, as there should be a frank discussion, and we
reserve the right to take other measures in response." (ANSA).
