(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 6 - "In the wake of the earthquake in
Turkey this morning, we have activated the EU Civil Protection
Mechanism" and the "EU's Emergency Response Coordination Centre
is coordinating the deployment of rescue teams from Europe," the
European Commissioner for Crisis Management, in charge of
European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Janez Lenarcic
said on Twitter today. "Teams from the Netherlands and Romania
are already on their way," Lenarcic informed. (ANSA).
