(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JAN 27 - The European Commission will not
fund the construction of a border fence between Bulgaria and
Turkey in order to prevent migration. "The Commission will not
finance walls," spokesman Eric Mamer said during the daily press
briefing. "It is up to the member states to determine what are
the best ways to fulfill their border protection obligations.
