(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JAN 17 - The study, memory, and the
dissemination and promotion of the work, life, and thought of
Giorgio Pressburger, one of the most significant personalities
on the twentieth century's Italian and international cultural
scene, are the goals of the newly formed 'Giorgio Pressburger'
cultural association, created in Trieste, the city where the
intellectual born in Budapest, who died in 2017, has lived and
worked since 1975.
The association - reads a statement - carries out an active role
in the care and maintenance of Italian-Hungarian cultural
relations and, in general, with the countries of Central Europe,
promoting understanding between peoples and collaboration
between nations.
Promoting cultural initiatives in Italy and abroad is also among
the objectives. The association's president is Mauro Caputo,
curator of the rights of Pressburger's literary, theatrical,
cinematographic, radio, and journalistic works. (ANSA).
