(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 1 - A team of EU Commission experts will visit the Romanian cities of Constanta and Galati from Friday to Saturday as part of the EU Executive's efforts to improve transit and commodity flow along'solidarity lanes' established by the Commission to improve EU-Ukraine connectivity for grain exports, according to international and Romanian media. Following Russia's withdrawal from the Black Sea Grain Initiative and the threat to Black Sea transport, the EU Commission has established a Joint Coordination Platform on Ukrainian exports to find practical solutions to remove bottlenecks and expedite traffic, allowing Ukraine to export grain via the EU as an alternative to Black Sea ports. The team of experts will visit Romanian cities as part of the platform's activity to discuss ways to increase the capacity of the Danube corridor. (ANSA).
