(ANSA) - TRIESTE, JAN 17 - "In a few days, the curtain will
rise on the Winter Olympic festival of the European youth of the
Fvg EYOF 2023, an international event dedicated to young people,
the values ;;of sport, and the Olympic ideals. A big event in
the area, an important showcase for our region. A few days
before the official ceremony, we are ready to welcome 47
European sports delegations, including the Ukrainian one, who
will participate in the event". That is what the Fvg governor,
Massimiliano Fedriga, said on the opening of the Olympic Games
for young athletes aged 14 to 18, who will compete in 14
disciplines from January 21 to January 28 in 11 competition
venues between regional ski areas (Claut, Sappada, Forni
Avoltri, Forni di Sopra, Piancavallo, Pontebba, Tarvisio, and
Zoncolan) and the neighboring Slovenia and Austria (Planica and
Spittal) with Udine which will host the hockey tournament at the
