Gorizia and Nova Gorica, a traditional crossroads between Italy
and Slovenia, the mayors of Nova Gorica, Samo Turel, and
Gorizia, Rodolfo Ziberna, along with the directors of Go!2025,
Mija Lorbek and Romina Kocina, officially began the countdown to
February 8, 2025, when the two cities will become the first
European capital of borderless culture. (ANSA).
