(ANSA) - UDINE, MAR 13 - The Scriptorium Foroiuliense, an
Italian Amanuensi School based in San Daniele del Friuli
(Udine), will begin the reproduction of five copies of Johann
Gutenberg's Bible with forty-two lines, the first book printed
in Europe with the movable type technique. The copies will then
be given to Italian and European institutions, including the
National Library of Spain and the Museum of Books and Printing
in Kiev, with one remaining in Friuli. (ANSA).
