(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 17 - The Council of Europe Development
Bank (CEB) approved a 200 million loan to the Republic of Serbia
today to fund the "BIO4 Campus," a cutting-edge educational,
scientific, technological, and entrepreneurial facility. The
loan will cover a portion of the costs associated with the
construction of seven buildings that will house 15 different
scientific institutes as well as a dedicated space for private
companies. The project's goal is to provide world-class
facilities and equipment for students, young researchers,
graduates, and established professionals, fostering education
and enabling scientific potential growth. The project is also
expected to improve healthcare, ranging from early detection and
prevention to enhanced treatment capacities and therapies.
