War veterans protest

Scores of Croatian war veterans, from Croatia's 1991-95 war for independence from Yugoslavia, have barricaded themselves inside a Zagreb church after police tried to disperse their months-long sit-in calling for more assistance from the government. Police tried to break up the protest in the square that is shared by the church and the government headquarters (EPA/ANTONIO BAT).
