(ANSA) - BELGRADE, DEC 5 - Regarding the request of the
Polish Deputy Minister for Infrastructure, Rafał Weber, to
reinstate the permit system that was in place prior to the
agreement signed between Brussels and Kiev in the aftermath of
the Russian invasion of Ukraine, European Commissioner for
Transport Adina Valean stated, "The idea of returning to permits
is not acceptable, I am determined to defend the agreement." "I
will keep outlining the benefits for the Union market as well as
the markets in Moldova and Ukraine," she continued.
