(ANSA) - TRIESTE, 19 GEN - Swedish Prime Minister Ulf
Kristersson announced that Sweden will provide Kiev with Archer
long-range artillery systems, on the day that since morning
anti-aircraft alerts have been going off throughout Ukraine,
according to Lviv military administration chief Maksym
Kozytskyi.
The alert was declared after 10:30 a.m. local time (9:30 a.m. in
Italy).
European Council President Charles Michel arrived in Kiev "to
discuss all aspects of cooperation." He announced this himself
on twitter, posting a photo of a hug with Olga Stefanishyna,
deputy prime minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration
of Ukraine. "May 2023 be the year of victory and peace," Michel
wrote. (ANSA).
