(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 13 - The meeting with Zelensky "went very
well," the president "who made a surprise appearance and thanked
us for the convincing support that Italy gave and is still
giving" to Ukraine and "invited premier Meloni to a meeting in
his country. The visit will take place earlier of the great
conference on reconstruction scheduled for early March in Rome".
That is what the Italian minister of Enterprises and Made in
Italy, Adolfo Urso, told the daily Messaggero after visiting
Kyiv yesterday along with the president of Confindustria, Carlo
Bonomi.
There was also talk of logistics: 'Probably we will intervene
while waiting for the full recovery of the maritime corridors.
We are committed to cooperating on land corridor number 5 from
Kyiv to North-East Italy so that, in some way, Trieste and
Venice can become their ports and logistics base in the European
quadrant, with the largest platform of the continent located in
Verona." (ANSA).
