Important day for Italy and Slovenia: Senator Rojc

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, APR 12 - "It is an important day for this region and for our two countries, which finally find perhaps the last seal of the great work done by President Sergio Mattarella and the then-President Borut Pahor," Senator Tatiana Rojc said today, before the ceremony of honorary degrees awarded to Mattarella and Pahor at the University of Trieste. "For me, this is a wonderful celebration; I am deeply moved. I believe that this is a true indication of what we want. We want to be European and work together. The first stage awaits us: Gorizia and Nova Gorica, European Capitals of Culture. The bridges have been built; now you must pass through them." (ANSA).
