(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 22 - 15% of the European Union's
territory is on orange alert due to drought, while another 1% is
on red alert due to record temperatures recorded in February on
the old continent, which were 3.3 degrees higher than the
1991-2020 historical average for the period. This is the
conclusion drawn from Coldiretti's analysis of data from the
European Drought Observatory for the first ten days of March,
which was released on World Water Day. The effects of climate
change distort seasonal patterns, with a lack of rain and snow
