Trieste's Big Science Business Forum presents itself in Serbia

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 28 - "The opening of BSBF to this important part of Europe," Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans, "was one of our priorities when we declared the national candidacy to host the Forum." That is what Alessia Rosolen, Friuli Venezia Giulia's Councillor for Research, said in a speech during the Serbian stage of the 'roadshow' organized by CEI in Belgrade to present the Big Science Business Forum 2024, scheduled to take place in Trieste from October 1 to 4, 2024.
    Trieste picked up the baton from Granada, which hosted the BSBF in 2022, an edition that saw 1,000 attendees and 500 organizations from 30 countries participate. The Julian Capital would like to surpass these figures this fall.
    Belgrade was the first stage of the roadshow to present BSBF in Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans, highlighting the prospects related to the Big Science Business Forum.
    "The synergies that will spring from this round of meetings will allow the business and scientific world of Central and Eastern Europe to fully benefit from the opportunities for economic growth and technological development offered by the Big Science European Market," Rosolen added.
    Organized in the Italian Embassy, hosted by Ambassador Luca Gori, the meetings in Belgrade were also attended by CEI Secretary General Roberto Antonione, BSBF 2024 Director Paolo Acunzo, Special Advisor to the Serbian Ministry of Technological Development and Innovation Jovan Milic, BioSense Research Institute Director Vladimir Crnojevic, and Nis Science-Technology Park Director Milan Randelkovic. More than 100 participants, including local science and business representatives, attended the event. (ANSA).
