(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 29 - Tensions remain high in the
northern part of Kosovo as local Serbs are protesting again
against the newly elected Albanian mayors today. The population
of the local Serbian community gathered in the morning in front
of the Municipalities of Zvecan, Zubin Potok, and Leposavic,
three of the four major municipalities with a Serbian majority,
to prevent the entry of the newly elected Albanian mayors, who
were chosen on April 23 in a vote boycotted by the Serbian
community. (ANSA).
