(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 29 - According to the Italian Ministry
of Defense, fourteen Italian military personnel were injured in
Kosovo. The 14 were wounded during the protests against the
installation of Kosovar-Albanian mayors in the cities of
Mitrovica Nord, Zvecan, Zubin Potok, and Leposavic. The KFOR
(Kosovo Force) intervened as an interposition force between the
Kosovo-Serbian population and the Kosovo Police, which arrived
on the scene to allow the installation of the mayors, the
ministry said. (ANSA).
