(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 12 - Thousands of people marched again in the center of Belgrade as part of a new protest called "Serbia against violence", a reaction to the recent killings that caused 17 deaths in the Balkan country, organized by several opposition parties. The march, without any party symbols and in a silence broken only by some slogans against Serbian President Vucic, started in the evening in front of the Parliament, continued to the Government building, and then proceeded to the 'Gazela' highway bridge, which the protesters completely blocked for more than an hour. The protest was peaceful, with no police intervention. Among the demands of the protesters were the resignation of the Interior Minister and the head of the services, as well as a halt to the spread of violence from pro-government tabloids and TV.
