Italy wants 'quantitative leap' in relations with Romania: FM

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 15 - Antonio Tajani, the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met with Romania's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luminița Odobescu, as part of the third Italian-Romanian intergovernmental summit, which is scheduled for today in Rome. "We want to make a qualitative leap in Italian-Romanian relations, strengthening and expanding the two countries' strategic partnership. The relationships re already characterized by very deep historical, cultural and linguistic ties", stated Tajani. (ANSA).
