(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 14 - The European Mediterranean
Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported a magnitude 5.5 earthquake
in Romania today. The quake was 40 kilometers (24.85 miles)
deep, with the epicentre 56 kilometers northeast of
Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Romania, according to the EMSC. Several
other earthquakes have shook Romania in recent days, including a
M 5.0 on February 13 and a M 4.6 on February 6. (ANSA).
