(ANSA-MOLDPRES) - ROME, 25 FEB - The United States, through
its international development agency USAID, intends to deliver
an additional $300 million in aid to Moldova to help the eastern
European republic overcome its severe energy crisis and become
independent from Russian energy sources, Moldova's President
Maia Sandu and US Ambassador to Chisinau Kent D. Logsdon
announced, cited by the Moldovan presidential bureau.
Administrator Samantha Power communicated USAID's intention
