(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JAN 14 - On Friday, an explosion in a
pipeline carrying gas to the country's north and neighboring
Latvia shook Lithuania, but there was no indication that the
incident was the result of an attack. The explosion occurred
outside residential buildings, according to gas operator AB
Amber Grid, and "according to preliminary information," no one
was injured. Amber Grid CEO Nemunas Biknius stated at a press
conference that there was no evidence of an attack. (ANSA).
