(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JAN 12 - The US State Department stated
that it "approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to the
Republic of Kosovo" of approximately 250 "Javelin Missiles and
related equipment for an estimated cost of $75 million."
This proposed sale will support the foreign policy goals and
national security of the United States by improving the security
of a European partner which is an important force for political
and economic stability in Europe," the statement of the
Department of State reads. (ANSA).
