(ANSA) - TRIESTE, 01 MAG - Several rallies were promoted in
various cities across Europe by tade unions and workers to
celebrate International Labor Day.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz delivered a speech during a
rally organized by the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB) in
Koblenz. In Sarajevo thousands called for changes in labor
regulations. Demonstrations were also held in Warsaw, with the
slogan 'Decent work = decent life. Fight for your rights."
Rallies and protests were also held in Zagreb and Skopje, where
demonstrators protested in front of the government building.
Labor Day or May Day is observed worldwide on 01 May to
celebrate the economic and social achievements of workers as
well as fight for laborers rights. (ANSA).
