(ANSA) - BELGRADE, APR 3 - Passenger trains on the
Athens-Thessaloniki railway line returned to operation, more
than a month after the collision of two trains on 28 February
with 57 deaths in Central Greece. State Minister responsible for
Infrastructure and Transport Giorgos Gerapetritis, the president
and CEO of Hellenic Railways OSE, Panagiotis Terezakis, and
executives of Hellenic Train are traveling on the first train
departing from Larissa station for Kalambaka, wanting to send
the message that rail transport is safe. (ANSA).
