Italy ranks last in the EU for metro, tram, suburban trains

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 6 - Italy ranks last in the EU for sustainable rail mobility, which includes subways, tramways, and suburban railways: when compared to the United Kingdom, Germany, and Spain, the Peninsula cannot compete and falls behind. The data emerges in Legambiente's "Commuting-Special urban areas" report, which was released as part of the Clean Cities campaign.
