(ANSA) - TRIESTE, 17 MAG - Heavy traffic on the Autovie
Venete motorway network tomorrow morning. The Ascension -
explains the concessionaire - will bring the first influx of
Austrians and Germans towards the coastline of Friuli Venezia
Giulia and Veneto. Furthermore, the holiday coincides with a
motorcycle rally attracting thousands of fans from beyond the
Alps to Lignano Sabbiadoro (Udine).
"The combination - Autovie underlines - will inevitably
intensify the traffic along part of the motorway network."
Tomorrow morning will therefore be characterized by the red
dot, with hefty traffic along the A23 between Udine Sud and the
Palmanova node and on the A4 towards Venice.
According to Autovie's forecasts, queues and drivers' braking
could occur, while the situation should improve from the
afternoon. No particular criticalities are expected on Friday
and Saturday, while on Sunday, traffic will again be heavy on
the A4 towards Trieste and the A23 along the Udine/Tarvisio
route, with queues at the Palmanova junction. (ANSA).
