(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 15 - The SPD emerged victorious in the
local elections for the state of Bremen, the smallest state in
Germany comprising the cities of Bremen and Bremerhaven.
Yesterday, the Social Democrats garnered 29.8%, an increase of
4.9 percentage points compared to 2019. The CDU came in second
with 25.7%, a slight drop from the previous elections. The
Greens performed poorly with 11.9%, experiencing a significant
decline of 5.5 percentage points compared to four years ago.
