Germany: industrial production plunges by 3.4% in March

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 8 - According to preliminary data from the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), industrial production in March 2023 in Germany was down 3.4% in real terms from the previous month on a price, seasonally, and calendar adjusted basis. This reduction follows a 2.1% growth in industrial production in February 2023 (provisional figure: 2.0%). In the first quarter of 2023, production was 2.5% higher than in the fourth quarter of the previous year. (ANSA).
