Germany: industrial production up 3.5% in January

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 8 - In January 2023, production in industry in Germany in real terms was up by 3.5% on the previous month, the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) said today. Destatis said that the strong growth in the production of electronic equipment (seasonally and calendar-adjusted +7.1% from the previous month) and chemicals and chemical products (+9.8%) was a big reason why industrial production was on the rise.
