(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 24 - Two people were killed in a mine
clearance operation in the Croatian village of Canak in the Lika
region on Thursday, according to the Lika-Senj County police,
according to Croatian news agency HINA. According to HINA, one
of the victims died instantly at the scene of the explosion,
while the other died on the way to the hospital. (ANSA).
