(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 14 - The Patriarch of the Bulgarian
Orthodox Church, Neofit, died last night at the age of 78 in a
military hospital in Sofia, where he had been admitted at the
end of November due to respiratory issues. Today, the Bulgarian
Orthodox Church's Holy Synod is expected to announce the day of
the funeral ceremonies, as well as the declaration of national
mourning. (ANSA).
