Willingness to pave the way for Bosnia in EU: Italian FM

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 10 - "We want to pave the way for Bosnia and Herzegovina to join the European Union," said Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani after meeting with his local counterpart Elmedin Konakovic today in Sarajevo. Tajani is visiting Bosnia's capital with Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg to reaffirm Italy's strong support for the Balkan country's European integration, which was granted candidate status by Brussels in December.
